One Powerful Home Remedy For Gallstones That Works Wonders

Get rid of gallstones

Gallstones are not cool*

(*though sometimes people make nice jewelry out of gallstones: Ola Giertz for example)

Gallstones can be very painful, and very expensive to have surgically removed. There is however a tried method that not only destroys those nasty stones, but has an amazing effect on your general health. Sit back, relax and we explain.

First: What does your gallbladder actually do?

The gallbladder is a small pear-shaped pouch located in the right upper abdomen, under the liver. It stores bile temporarily. Bile is a thick, yellow-green liquid and is produced by the liver. It consist of several substances, including cholesterol, bilirubin, and bile salts.

Your Gallbladder

The function of bile

Through the bile duct, the bile fluid enters the gallbladder. When fat food leaves the stomach, the gallbladder pulls together. Bile is then transported to the small intestine through the bile ducts. The fluid is necessary for proper digestion of fats.

This video explains why a well functioning gallbladder is important:

What are gallstones?

Gallstones usually occur in the gallbladder. Bile can sometimes remain stagnant for a long time in the gallbladder and can then start to thicken. When this liquid solidifies, a gallstone forms. There are two types of gallstones:

  1. Cholesterol Stones
80% of gallstones are cholesterol stones, they are usually yellow-green in color.
  2. Pigment Stones
These stones form out of bilirubin, and are small and dark.

Possible causes of gallstones

Little is known about the causes of the formation of gallstones. There are some indications that the following factors play a role:

  • The gallbladder does not empty properly
The functioning of the gallbladder itself might play a role. Gallstones can develop if the gallbladder does not squeeze itself empty enough during meals. This allows stagnant bile that can solidify.
  • The composition of the bile fluid
Gallstones can occur when the bile contains too much cholesterol. Cholesterol gallstones are known to occur more frequently in women than in men. People suffering from conditions like diabetes, cirrhosis and sickle cell anemia often have a higher risk.
  • Hormones
Female hormones may play a role here. For example, gallstones occur more frequently during pregnancy. Estrogen increases cholesterol and affects the movement of bile through your system.
  • Weight gain or loss
Obesity and rapid weight loss increase the risk of gallstones. If you lose weight too fast or are obese, your liver excretes extra cholesterol, and your gallbladder might not contract enough to empty out the bile.
  • Genetics
Genetic factors may also play a role. If anyone in your family has stones, you might get them as well.

What Are the Symptoms?

Gallstones in the gallbladder mostly give little to no complaints. Complaints arise when a gallstone gets stuck in the bile ducts. The flow of bile fluid is then impeded. Some of the symptoms are:

Pain Attacks

When a gallstone prevents the flow of bile, the gallbladder will attempt to push out the stone. This causes the gallbladder to pull violently together. These violent contractions of the gallbladder may cause severe pain in the right upper abdomen, known as biliary colic. This pain can last one to four hours.

If you are not sure if you suffer from gallbladder attacks, watch a description here:

Additional symptoms may include a decolored stool, nausea, vomiting and jaundice (yellow skin).

More complications

If the contractions of the gallbladder can not remove the barricade, the gallstone remains. As a result, the following complications may occur:

  • An inflammation of the bile ducts
  • An inflammation of the gallbladder
  • Acute pancreatitis; this is a serious complication that can arise when a gallstone stuck in the papilla of Vater. The papilla of Vater is the place where the duct of the pancreas leads to the common bile duct to the smaller intestine.

It is clear that gallstones can be very uncomfortable, and can cause bigger health issues in the long run. Time for a solution:

The Gallbladder Cleanse

To remove gallstones you need the following things:

  • 6 liter Organic Apple juice
  • 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts, diluted in 750 ml of water
  • Half a glass of cold pressed organic extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 glass of fresh grapefruit juice
  • 2 half a liter jugs, one with a lid.

The removal preparation

Apple Juice

Drink 1 liter of apple juice daily for 6 days. The malic in the apple juice softens the gallstones and makes their passage through the bile ducts smooth and easy. The apple juice also has a strong cleansing effect. Drink the juice slowly throughout the day, between meals. Do not drink it during meals and not earlier than two hours after meals. This is in addition to your normal water consumption of 6-8 glasses per day.

Avoid these

Do not consume any foods or beverages that are cold or chilled, all should preferably be at room temperature. Do not eat meat, dairy or fried foods.

The best times for cleansing

The main and final part of the purification can be best done in the weekend. Then you will have plenty of time to rest. Although the gallbladder cleansing works at any time it is best done between a full and new moon.

Do not do the purification during full moon because the body retains more fluids in the brains and tissues. The day of the new moon is most favorable for cleaning and healing purposes.

For the actual purification process we described set times for specific actions, try not to deviate more than ten minutes from these times.

If you use medication

If you uses medication for a pre-existing condition, consult your doctor before starting this remedy.

During the purification you should only take the medication, vitamins or supplements that are absolutely necessary. It is important that the liver does not get extra work that can limit its cleaning function.

Clean your colon

You can clean your intestines before and after the cure, by means of a high intestinal lavage, enema or a pro-biotic treatment.

Time for the actual cleanse!

Ready - Set - Cleanse

2 PM: Do not eat or drink after this time. Keep the Epsom salt at hand. Mix 4 tablespoons in 3 glasses of water (750 ml) and pour in a jug. This is enough for 4 glasses. Put the can in the refrigerator to chill.

6 PM: Drink one serving of this ice-cold solution. You can add a pinch of vitamin C to improve the taste. You can also drink a few sips of water afterwards to rinse your mouth. Get the olive oil and grapefruit ready to warm up to room temperature.

8 PM: Drink one serving of the Epsom salts solution. You have not eaten since two o’clock, but you won’t  feel hungry. Get ready for bedtime.

9.30 PM: Pour ½ cup olive oil into the jug with a lid. Squeeze the grapefruit by hand into the measuring cup. Remove the flesh with a fork or sieve. You should be able to produce at least ½ cup of juice, but more (up to about ¾ cup) is better. You can also supplement it with some lemon juice. Add the juice to the olive oil. Close the jar tightly and shake until it is completely mixed.

Now go to the toilet if needed.

10 PM: Drink the oil juice mix. You have to drink it standing. Get it down within 5 minutes (fifteen minutes for very elderly or weak persons).

Now go straight to sleep! The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Relax, and try to move as little as possible. You might need to take multiple runs to the bathroom, so make sure you have easy and unlimited access.

The next morning: take the third dose of the Epsom salt solution, but not before 6 AM. If you feel nauseous or constipated, wait until that feeling is gone before you drink it. You can go back to bed if you like. Do not take this drink for 6 hours.

Two hours later: take the fourth dose of Epsom salt solution. If you want, you can go back to bed.

After two hours: Drink some fruit juice. Eat some fruit half an hour later. After an hour later you can eat something else but keep it light and simple. By the end of the afternoon you should feel better again.

You might have some diarrhea in the morning. Look in your bowel movements for gallstones (flakes, foam or powder). If necessary, use an old colander to catch the stones. They can be yellow-green, brown to black.

You can also experience some pent-up emotions (anger, resentment, irritation or sadness). It disappears after a day or 2. Some people believe that behind any ailment lies an underlying emotion, and you can process these with a deep cleansing. All in all you should feel relieved, cleaner and lighter.

No More Pain

Repeat the cleanse

You can repeat this cleanse every 3 weeks. If twice in a row no stone is released during the treatment, you can assume that your gallbladder is clean. Put this remedy to the test at least 2 times because sometimes you will only lose stones the second time. Continue until you have a clean galbladder, because a half cleansed one can still cause problems!

Though this remedy is not the most enjoyable one (to say the least!) it is effective and will have a beneficial impact on your entire health.
